MLC full form or meaning is Member of Legislative Council, Which is called Vidhan Parishad in Hindi.
There is a system of two houses in some states of India, as we all know that there is a system of two houses for the Central Government of India, which we call Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
Similarly, in some states of India, there is a system of two houses, which we call the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council.
