App engine became commonly available in November 2011. After the announcement the cloud platform App Engine google added multiple cloud services to this platform.
The google cloud platform is also a part of the Google cloud that contains the Google cloud platform public cloud infrastructure and Google Workspace or G suite and apart from these the application programming interfaces APIs for machine learning, enterprise mapping services, enterprise versions of Chrome OS and Android etc.

- In April 2008 google appl engine was announced. In May 2010 google cloud storage was launched. In October 2011 google cloud SQL was announced.
- In June 2012 google compute engine was launched.
- In May 2013 google compute engine was released to GA
- In February 2014 google cloud SQL becomes GA.
- In March 2015 google cloud DNS was available generally.
- In September 2016 Stackdriver was generally available
- In February 2017 cloud spanner was released into beta.
- In May 2018 Google cloud memory store was available in Beta.
- In November 2019 google cloud run was released.
- In October 2020 google cloud announced it will become a block producer candidate for the EOS network.
