- The minimum age requirement for the REET examination is 18 years old and there are no maximum age criteria.
- There is no negative marking in the REET exam and it is conducted offline.

- The candidate must be graduated and passed or appear in their final 2-year diploma.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for the final year of graduation.

Career after REET
After qualifying, the Rajasthan eligibility examination for teachers’ candidates will be awarded the REET eligibility certificate. However, this certificate has validity and the validity of the REET certificate is for three years from the date it is issued.
Applicants who qualify for the Rajasthan eligibility examination for a teacher can later apply for teacher posts for classes 1 to 8th in various Rajasthan state government and private schools, where they will get the priority among Non-REET students.
