BSCC means or full form is Bihar student Credit Card.
Bihar Student Credit Card is an education loan given by the bank to Bihar students on the guarantee of the Government of Bihar.
After passing the intermediate, this student credit card is given for doing higher education.
Using which a student can do any professional course such as Engineering Medical MBA MCA and other courses.
BSSC means Bihar Student Credit Card, under this scheme, students are given up to a maximum of ₹ 400000 for doing different types of courses in India and any other country.

The need for BSCC- Bihar student credit card-
When students think of doing higher education after higher secondary, then the biggest obstacle before them is to pay fees.

Only 24 percent of India’s children are able to go for higher education, out of that only 14 percent of Bihar’s children enroll for higher education.
So the Bihar government decided to start different financial help schemes to take this percentage up to 30 percent.

The scheme was launched by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on 2 October 2016.
Earlier, the Bihar government used to provide financial help for higher education, but the process was very complicated and the amount received was also very less.
Earlier students had to go to the bank for an education loan where it was not easy to get an education loan.
The process of student credit card is completely online and within 60 days students get their credit card in their hands.

If you do polytechnic after 10th, you can still avail of this scheme.

Who can Avail the benefit of Bihar student credit card scheme(BSCC)-
Any student of Bihar can take advantage of Bihar Student Credit Card and fulfill their higher education dreams.
- The student should be from Bihar.
- Should have studied in Bihar.
- The annual income of the student’s family should be less than 50000.
- the applicant’s age should be less than 25 at the time of application.
- the student’s admission should not be under Management quota.
- The institution student is going to study should be a Recognised one.

Loan amount under Bihar student credit card-
Under the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme(BSCC), you can avail of a loan from the bank up to a maximum of ₹ 400000.
This ₹ 400000 will be allotted in your credit card, which you can give to the college every year for your fee payment.
How to apply for the BSCC scheme?
The entire process of BSCC application is online.
You should fill the application with required documents such as your tenth, twelfth mark sheet, Aadhaar card, two passport size photos, Aadhaar card of your parents, PAN card of your parents, income proof of your parents, etc.
you can fill your application online on the official website of the BSCC, by providing all your personal and educational details.
after completion of your application, you have to visit your district DRCC for the verification of your Original documents.
After the completion of the whole process, you will get the confirmation for your loan within 60 days of Application.
The interest rate of BSCC loan-
the interest rate of the Bihar student credit card loan is very nominal.
for Girls, Transgender, and Physically Handicapped students, the rate of interest is 1%.
for all other students, the rate of interest is 4% per year.
